So I was driving on my way to the mall to grab some food to cook tonight for dinner. Coming up to someone pulled over by a local cop. Well shit, I have a clear inspection sticker on my car which looks like I have no inspection sticker, and I've been pulled over a few times for it. As I drive past, the cop leaves whatever he was tending to to pull behind me. After a half mile he throws the lights and siren on. I pull over.

He comes up asks what I think I was pulled over for. I tell him my inspection sticker, hand him all the paperwork stating why it failed emissions and explained I need a new PCM since this one isn't reading some of my sensors as it should.

He laughed and said he understood, we chatted for a few minutes, asked where I was going, all the usual stuff.

As he stands to go back to his cruiser he says "Love the license plate by the way" and I reply Usually police hate that plate.

He says "You can't take shit to seriously, it's just a license plate. You gotta laugh at stuff like that."

Awesome Cop.

The town I moved to, everyone told me the cops were dicks, but so far they seem pretty relaxed about stuff, you just can't get mouthy with them

This could have gone a total other way if I got mouthy with him and said something rude instead of being polite.
